MBA Program in Real Estate Appraisal and Valuation

The MBA program with a specialization in real estate in the area of real estate appraisal and valuation endows an exemption from 13 qualifying exams in real estate appraisal, such that those completing the program will have to pass only one final exam in order to qualify as a real estate appraiser.

Real estate appraisal and valuation

Recent year innovations and developments in the real estate field requires managers to acquire up-to-date knowledge and tools for investment and financial decision-making—knowing and understanding today’s real estate sector. At the same time, recent years have seen the need for more complex and advanced valuation and appraisal than ever in the past. The past decades have witnessed the expansion and growth of large international appraisal offices specializing in economic consulting, which have become dominant in conducting valuation of substantial real estate assets for the financial reports of public companies.

For whom is the program in Real Estate Appraisal and Valuation intended?

The program is intended for those interested in acquiring academic knowledge and advanced practical tools for economic and financial appraisal of real estate projects and assets and financing real estate investments. In addition, the program is intended for those interested in turning real estate appraisal into their professional career with and MBA from the leading management school in Israel.  Moreover, the program is intended for:

  • Real estate managers who are interested in acquiring advanced economic and financial knowledge and/or in broadening and updating their knowledge in the area of real estate appraisal and real estate valuation;

  • Investment managers, bankers, risk managers, accountants, lawyers and professional consultants in the field of real estate who are interested in acquiring specialized knowledge in the areas of the program;

  • Those interested in the area of real estate wishing to specialize in the areas of the program;

  • Those interested in specializing in the area of real estate appraisal and obtaining full training (the most advanced in Israel) for accreditation as real estate appraisers;

  • Real estate appraisers interested in broadening and updating their knowledge in the areas of the program.

The structure of the program and its uniqueness

The program includes specialized studies towards an MBA and has several unique features. The studies in the MBA program include specializing in real estate management with emphasis on real estate valuation and appraisal. Students of the program are entitled to 11 exemptions from the exams of the Real Estate Appraisers Council (see details below).

Additional enrichment studies

  1. Extracurricular meetings and networking opportunities in the field of real estate management in Israel that will take place as part of workshops and roundtables with real estate industry leaders. These meetings are conducted with a limited number of participants, allowing for direct an informal engagement with top executives in the real estate industry.

  2. Complete preparatory studies for the final qualifying exam in real estate appraisal. The studies take place within the framework of a comprehensive preparatory course that is provided by the best instructors in the area and will be open only to students of the program

  3. Guidance and assistance in finding internships in leading real estate appraisal firms of the Israeli market

  4. Participation in a special mentoring program offered by appraisers from the top echelons of the industry in Israel (in collaboration with the Real Estate Appraisers Association in Israel)
